It was reported that the township police chief shot himself inside the Sinni Township police office.
On September 24th, at 3:00 a.m., Township Police Chief U Win Myint was killed by shooting himself in the ear with the gun he was holding. When his son came back from outside to find the police officer complaining of a gunshot wound, the camp office officials arrived and took him to the hospital, but he died within hours.
``It was almost the end of the week, so I didn't notice the sound of the gun because of the sound of crackers going off. When he was taken to the hospital, he noticed that there was no gun in his waist, so when he came back and checked, he found a bullet shell. Seeing a gun, it is assumed that he committed suicide,'' said an official from Sinni City Police Station.
Some of the police officials said that the deceased police chief started working in Sinni City in April 2014 and attended a meeting in the Sinni Saka (16) unit a day before his death.
``The chief of police is very worried about work, so I have to warn him often because he will become stressed. Since returning from the meeting that day, I haven't taken off my uniform and gun. At night, instead of sleeping at home, I slept in the office. It is known that he told his wife that he was going to be patrolled,'' said some police officers from Sinni City Police Station.
On September 12, the deceased police chief surrendered the 12-point handgun that he previously held, and used a 38-point (38) type revolver in the execution.
The deceased police chief has a wife and two sons. He left a daughter. For the death of the police chief, a case is being opened at Sinni city police station under the case number (5/2014).
