Your Majesty
There is no rule of law in Yangon. No one cares, who has the right to do whatever he wants. There is a place where the public is being tortured every day.
That place is the passenger buses that travel around Yangon every day.
Monks, pilgrims, and people who travel almost every day. office staff Teachers and students going back to school Workers returning to work Shopping, etc. rely on passenger buses to get around.
As soon as he got into the car, there was no courtesy. Most of the drivers and conductors who behave rudely have to deal with it on a daily basis.
I don't know if they even treat the traveling public as the victims of the barbell instead of being regarded as rich. Every day, during the commute to and from the office, passengers are treated like inanimate goods and are crammed into cars.
The people who are migrant workers are brothers and sisters. mother and son men and women Monks, etc., do not belong to the level of human culture. They have to travel inappropriately. Passengers are often faced with the situation of being treated like fools if they do not treat the drivers and conductors with respect.
It is known that there are 364 bus lines under Ma Tha (Central), and out of 6,333 vehicles, there are more than 4,000 vehicles running daily. The bus lines are divided into special cars and ordinary cars, and the special cars only carry passengers according to the number of seats, and the fare is 200.300 kyats, and ordinary cars are 50 kyats per trip. 1 hundred 150 2,000 kyats, etc.
However, at this time, special cars carry passengers tightly without any space between the cars. removing the seats; You can see everywhere that they are looking for business under the guise of greed, replacing two seats with single seats. Ordinary buses are charging at least 100 kyats instead of 50 kyats per trip. If there are minibuses and big cars that are not special cars that are running in Yangon, for various reasons, they are like 200 special cars. They are collecting 300 Kyats.
Fixed fare rates are no longer affixed to the respective vehicles. Some cars have fares attached, but only trips, and the rates are covered by something; They are collecting the fare for a week by dragging them.
A few days ago, the author gave 200 kyats for a trip that should have cost 150 kyats. If you don't want to pay, go back down, He was even openly challenged by the conductor.
Other passengers were seen giving whatever the conductor asked for without any complaints. The unsatisfying voices of travelers are often seen in daily newspapers and journals. The author has never once complained to the relevant authorities about such matters.
However, at this time, the author can no longer complain. It's because the illegal bus lines are running rampant day by day with more and more freedom like a lawless zone. As monks and people who ride the bus, they can't afford to suffer these problems on a daily basis.
In today's time, there is no sympathy for those who are struggling to sustain a life in the midst of food crisis. Forcibly charging more fares than the set rate out of greed is a cold-blooded robbery.
Charging more than the specified fare, Stopping at a stop for a long time and calling passengers; Disrespecting the passengers and arguing with them. Forced to compete with each other Driving over rush hour; Injuries and loss of lives of passengers due to traffic accidents; If the vehicle breaks down, leaving the vehicle behind and the driver and conductor fleeing, etc., these are the sad scenes that the monks and nuns in Yangon have to face every day.
In addition, some bus lines do not drive according to the prescribed route, but show various reasons and drive as they see fit. It is also seen that they want to act without rules, such as running only the part of the trip where it is easy to make money, without running the whole trip.
Corrupt bus lines during the previous military regime. There were drivers and conductors, but the situation was not as bad as it is now. Due to the precise measures taken, the traveling public was relieved to some extent. However, even after the arrival of the democratic civilian government, the situation has worsened. Complain to the concernedHowever, I don't know how to solve it, and the corruption is increasing day by day. I don't know if they are running rampant freely to protect democracy.
Due to such corrupt drivers and conductors, billions of kyats are being taken from the non-existent assets of the tourist workers every day. As tourist workers, the relevant laws and regulations They face the situation every day without the protection of regulations.
It has been announced that relevant regulatory authorities will take effective action if a complaint is made. If you don't complain, it means that no action will be taken. law If a regulation has been issued, whether or not a complaint is filed. They must also be able to plan and take action against those who do not comply. If not, the art law, It will only be the rules and regulations of the show.
As of September 15, it is known that there are 78 complaints from travelers to Mattha (Central). If it was really an individual complaint, there would be hundreds of thousands of cases every day.
This real situation can be driven by private cars. If the relevant regional government officials, who only ride in departmental cars, can see the truth and provide solutions, it may save the traveling monks from the problems they face on a daily basis. If these problems are treated as ordinary issues, starting with garbage, I am worried that if the burning of Ash Thad continues, it will become like an anarchy country.
As a matter of fact, MATH is a strong and stable organization with sufficient staff and proper management, so there is no reason why it cannot provide good conditions for tourists. However, I don't know how they are doing now. Irregular bus lines, The number of drivers and conductors is increasing day by day. If the officials take the form of tourists and do a systematic field inspection, they will be able to know the real situation.
